ends tomorrow. (monday july 14th, 2008)
i’m actually the type of student that gets excited and pumped up for school. it always offers me something different to do from the normal working, servicing or eating with the friends and family. but i guess you have to be a respectable and skilled student to be able to actually enjoy school. i think that’s what’s important if you want to get the most out of school (besides the learning-what-you-didn’t-know-before part obviously).
but now i will have to find some way to fit the following into my already-cramped-and-busy schedule:
- senior project development
monday 6:00pm – 10:00pm
expected project: something nice and ajax-y. perhaps my portfolio 2 project. (see below)
- professional practice for multimedia
tuesday 1:00pm – 5:00pm
expected project: perhaps a freelance package including designed folder, contracts, hours, spreadsheets, accountables, terms of service, etc. - portfolio 2
wednesday 1:00pm – 5:00pm
expected project: my revamped portfolio. plenty of ajax/javascript and jquery maybe. php and css will be very lightweight and will be built upon construct so i can easily upload my latest and current works. from what i’ve seen coming out of the school, this could be somewhere in the top 5 portfolios, if not the best portfolio. there will be no doubt about that. (i will also be designing and developing the flash version of the portfolio that comes with a touchscreen panel for the portfolio show. i’ll probably try to design some other nice interactive apps that go along with the panel too.) - database concepts
wednesday 6:00pm – 10:00pm
expected project: i will probably start designing and developing my construct cms in this class.
and by the way, the portfolio show, according to my calendar, will be on friday september 19th from 10:00am – 4:00pm (this is subject to change). i will definitely try and get a spot there to showoff the touchscreen portfolio i will be developing in portfolio 2 as well as probably have some sort of “live design” session on my brother’s hdtv. so if you can, visit me!
you know i’ll be there!
Sounds unique and fresh. Hopefully I get to see some too on your site. By the way, what touch panel are you using?
