don’t forget that even though you do take homeschooling and don’t get all of the recommended credits, that doesn’t mean sdsu or even ucsd will reject you. they reject poor grades and performance. and worst-case scenario is you have to take those additional recommended classes at swc for half a year or a year which is not the end of the world and later transfer to state. it’s a completely normal thing.
in regards to the medical field: if it’s not what you want to do or in your heart, you will absolutely hate going to work every day. i guarantee it. it doesn’t matter how good the pay can get for the amount of work involved. sooner or later, it will frustrate you.
