earlier this morning i had a problem. i heard mariah carey’s latest track “bye bye” featuring jay-z. i guess it was the remixed version. so i immediately went on mininova and on other *cough*torrent*cough* searches that never failed me and to no avail could i find the track.
so i got creative.
i got on youtube and found the following movie. i couldn’t believe that the quality was clean and up to spec and there were no mp3s to be found of the movie anywhere on the torrents.
now how do i turn that movie into an mp3? easy.
finally, i converted an flv to an mp3.

oh yeah, that reminds me. just as a disclaimer, i didn’t do anything illegal. and technically, i’m not “teaching” anyone how to do anything illegal. downloading torrents are illegal. i only went on a torrent search just to check if the file existed. i didn’t download any mp3s. if you want someone to blame, mariah, blame the guy who put up your track on youtube. interpret that anyway you like.
hahaha RIAA must be cringing at their toes because they can’t legally do anything to me. loopholes ftw!
