i think i’ve been working on these for the past 5 weeks already for portfolio 2, but it’s okay. it’s actually been a pretty fun process. a lot of what you see is a little bit of my style with a little twist. some of the latter work still hasn’t been completed yet, so i can’t really show you what’s going on there. but there are some pieces that i see that are starting to get a little too busy for my taste (such as the 33 reasons and reflections pages), so i will have some cleaning up to do.
it’s nothing more than what you’d expect. i didn’t want it to be just a book with my work plastered on a page. i wanted it to show clients and employers what i can do. i wanted to show people that you don’t need screenshots of your work to showoff your skills. actually, this print book combines a lot of what i do on a normal project: photoshop, illustrator, design and layout, creativity, etc.
it’s abstract and has a lot of whitespace, something typical of a designer, but it’s all good. it’s also going to cost $25 to print up. =(
