this was probably the highlight of the entire vacation: our trip to baguio city. all the relatives arrived early morning, around 5am. we packed up, headed over to a jollibee on the way, enjoyed the sights and sounds of rural ghetto philippines, enjoyed a nice drive up the freaking tall mountain of baguio and stopped real quick in a hotel that we didn’t like. after 30 minutes of waiting around, we found a different hotel/resort to stay at and set up shop inside a nice three-floor apartment.
after settling in, we spent the day walking around a famous park and ate some dog bbq by accident. couldn’t taste a difference. then walked around with the family to the nearest bathroom. shopped around in some swap meet and showed the uncles and cousins some pretty funny youtube videos while everyone else cooked.
this was definitely the highlight of the trip. definitely.
