no name, just twitter

this is the project i’ve been talking about here and here.  actually, justtwitter might be a pretty cool name for this now that i think about it.  or maybe twitter null.

basically what it does is grab everyone’s twitter rss files and lets you browse their twits through the rss feeds.  when all of the feeds are available for viewing, the + button will come down and you can view a person’s feed by clicking their corresponding button.  browsing is done by the < and > buttons.

there are still some major bugs i have to work out.  for the flash guys, the strict and warnings mode won’t freaking stay off.  also i have to figure out the most efficient way to load in everyone’s previous and next animations instead of just setting the visibility to false.  i’m also working on getting the search feature to work.  i can make it where you add someone’s exact username, but it’d be nice to have it return similar usernames to choose from.

i think there was another issue that came up before presenting the thing to my multi-user authoring class.  some of the urls weren’t loading for some reason so i had to run a local version with local rss files.

i’ll be sure to get on these bugs over the break and upload an online “local” demo soon though.
