so i’ve been messing with tons of different operating systems for the past few days (more details on that soon) and wanted to just expose you guys to the wonderful world of open source. if you’re getting tired of xp, vista or even osx, you still have the options to go open-source with linux. linux, unlike windows, is stable, hacker-safe, fast and free.
(that includes software updates, programs and plug-ins!)
everything is open source, so you’ll find many different versions of linux (videos inside), even a version made exclusively for myspace users (changing moods, quotes, pictures, etc all from the desktop dock).
now i am not yet a linux convert. i’ve used linux in the past such as knoppix and bartPE, but i have always dedicated myself to windows and osx. i will, however, have a working version of ubuntu on the hp, just in case windows and leopard fails on me.
