fellow classmate adam has created a pretty siik mashup using flash/as3, xml/rss and flickr’s api, which i had turned away from thankfully.

flickr invasion is pretty straightforward.  just input a flickr username and 20 of their images, most likely their latest ones, will appear and they will try to kill you.  your object is to get rid of them before they get rid of you.  game is very asteroids-like.

280 slides is a wonderful online “powerpoint” editor where you can access your presentations anywhere in the world.  what’s more is their slides have some nice “web 2.0″ designs and animations.  did i mention it was free?

i wish there would have been an offline version that writes locally instead of to a database.  just something about creating an important presentation online just kinda worries me.
