- purchase another 22″ samsung syncmaster
- install osx, perhaps 10.5.
- install front row
- install eyetv
- sell old toshiba tv.
- profit
here’s what front row does:
here’s what eyetv does:
now maybe you guys don’t understand how big this is, but with television going digital next year, you’ll be able to watch any show you want 1 week ahead of time. you can also re-watch shows from the week before. it’s better than any dvr or tivo setup you have. now how much more is it going to take before you guys start thinking apple? or at least pc with osx installed. =P
so i’ve been messing with tons of different operating systems for the past few days (more details on that soon) and wanted to just expose you guys to the wonderful world of open source. if you’re getting tired of xp, vista or even osx, you still have the options to go open-source with linux. linux, unlike windows, is stable, hacker-safe, fast and free.
(that includes software updates, programs and plug-ins!)
everything is open source, so you’ll find many different versions of linux (videos inside), even a version made exclusively for myspace users (changing moods, quotes, pictures, etc all from the desktop dock).

the blog speed hasn’t been as rapid lately due to the fact that my laptop died, but that should soon change in a matter of days.
and i’m going to give it to you.
i guess now that the submission deadlines are closed and i decided to drop out of my team, it’s safe to tell everyone without getting in trouble with mtv.

Whilst I of course appreciate that there is bound to be a learning curve with a new OS here’s the list of ‘wrong’ things that are currently really getting on my nerves:
