print book and resume are not yet uploaded, but will be in a matter of days. sorry if you guys have been wondering what’s been causing the lack of blogs for the past week or two. this is why.
i haven’t had any web-related posts in a while, but this one should be a goodie. all web developers have to deal with designing and developing for all browsers, but both firefox and internet explorer have different stylesheet defaults for their webpages. this is why some pages look different in firefox than in internet explorer.
to fix that, just apply the code below to the beginning of your css and set the same exact defaults for all of your browsers. this saved me a headache for one of my latter clients who wanted some confusing code for their project.
for google keywords “mozilla aurora”. impressive. i’m telling you guys, if you want to keep your seo game up, you’d better start reading or i’m going to be taking all of your seo freelance jobs left and right.
week one of school is done and over with and i couldn’t be happier with my classes. well, almost.
so i’ve been messing with tons of different operating systems for the past few days (more details on that soon) and wanted to just expose you guys to the wonderful world of open source. if you’re getting tired of xp, vista or even osx, you still have the options to go open-source with linux. linux, unlike windows, is stable, hacker-safe, fast and free.
(that includes software updates, programs and plug-ins!)
everything is open source, so you’ll find many different versions of linux (videos inside), even a version made exclusively for myspace users (changing moods, quotes, pictures, etc all from the desktop dock).
