watercooled xbox 360, 2010 update
so i’ve noticed hundreds and hundreds of hits coming from my youtube videos regarding my watercooled xbox 360 project and i know there really isn’t any closure on the project yet anywhere on this blog, so i thought i’d post this up real quick.
the project’s done. it’s running just fine. there’s another video on the way, i promise. i just need to finish editing it and upload it. i hope to find some time this week to actually do that, so please check back often. i have another big watercooling project on the way and will try to document that as much as possible.
meanwhile, why not enjoy some of these recorded gaming sessions i have up on youtube? =)
(you’ll find a lot of cod:waw and halo ODST, although i’m more of a mw2 person now)

first day out
for nearly this entire week. feels good. joined some of the south bay fatties and uncles for basketball. didn’t play as usual. i just go to watch. i really enjoy it. not into watching the pro nba stuff. we just seem to have funny basketball games for some reason. that’s always better than having those lame serious games, right?
had some wendy’s afterwards with josh, sushane, james and jennymae. i’m pretty sure there was something in those cupcakes.

almost 100%
it’s sunday morning and i meant to make it out to my meeting today. that’s how much i’ve recovered over this past week. sadly, i overslept. i guess that happens a lot when your immune system kicks in. it’s also one of the downsides to having meeting in the early morning.
but on the brightside, there are so many things on tv right now. colts/jets game, 13 going on 30, george of the jungle, the truman show and horsepower tv. this helps.

i think i’m dying
it’s been about a month run so far. i’ve lost nearly all five of my senses. my sinuses keep me from being able to taste anything. i can’t even take in a full breath anymore and everytime i do, there’s some weird sharp pain in my chest. my right ear doesn’t even function and i’m pretty sure the right side of my jaw is swollen, causing the ringing and earaches. pretty sure it’s temporomandibular joint disorder. my eyesight’s already starting to give up on me whenever i get tired. everytime i cough, it feels like my insides are going to fly out and i always get this sharp migraine and pressure in the back of my head. and oh yeah, i also have a sore throat to top it all off.
and oh yeah, your beloved chargers choked. AGAIN.

all party invitations given to me after a party had already started will be respectfully ignored from now on. that’s like the 2nd week in a row.

so i just finished the sarah connor chronicles
and i’m telling you right now, i have never seen a season premier or movie ending as moving and epic as this show’s season 2 ending. if there’s one show’s ending that will make me cry, it’s this one. seriously. you trusted me on heroes season 1. you trusted me on chuck. you trusted me on the office. trust me on this one. it’s a little slow towards the beginning of season 2, but it really starts to pick up.
also, if you’re a current fan of the terminator franchise, keep an open mind. the story is all about trying to change the future by preventing skynet from ever being built, so there are different future dimensions that intertwine with each other in this show. there are also some things in the show that leave you confused. things that make you wonder “ok what the heck was that scene about?”. but it all comes together in the end.
