so the territory hub was worked on for the majority of my work week and i’ve spent an enormous amount of time debugging the “prettiness” factor of the whole thing. i’ve ran into several issues, rather interesting and complicating issues, and have solved them all. i will be saving those issues for the remaining 3 updates. for this update, i’d like to just show you some screenshots of the information architecture stage and some quick screens of my php include files, html code and css code.

accessibility is not just about being street-legal anymore. found an interesting presentation on accessibility and why it’s so important in terms of getting your content that you put out there accessible by the rest of the internet.

it’s not exactly earth-shattering, but we’ll take it. microsoft reveals some small “snippets” of their new OS which now supports multi-touch support using n-trig’s code. still no gesture support compared to percepective pixel’s work (which for the record, still reigns supreme as king of multi-touch software and development since they were the pioneers). i wonder how apple’s gonna counter this one?
here are a few quick personal notes of mine after bert and yours truly had a meeting with joe godfrey.
here’s the prequel to this post. photos inside taken with the env2 cell phone. i can definitely see how this game can be addicting. my head is actually throbbing really bad still from all of the laughing. it’s like a mashup of various jenga puzzles, balancing puzzles and destroying other player’s fortresses.
this is exactly what i hate.

i’ve always loved the style of the flashden, psdtuts and nettuts designs. (which btw, i have a few of my tutorials on flashden which you should check out!) what’s really cool is that the developer/designer is also a fellow OTer as well. i don’t know which are better though: his site’s awesome tutorial content or the design themselves.
well now the same guy has released audio jungle. he has a corresponding blog to go with it. from the looks of it, the release of his upcoming vectortuts should be very promising.
and btw, if you haven’t been up to speed with the latest trends in the web industry, nettuts should get you pretty much up to speed.
because many many people i know live by this personal code. i’ve even found myself to live by this code sometimes. but basically, the code goes that if the application that you use is an app that you don’t pay for or don’t pay hosting for, then it’s not yours.
